Frequently Asked Questions
Our training is completely free for participants. Thanks to the support of our sponsors, we’re able to provide telehealth digital literacy classes to seniors in our community at no cost.
Participants will need a smartphone, tablet, laptop, or newer flip phone with app and web access to take part in the training. Unfortunately, older flip phones are not compatible with the tools we teach, so they cannot be used for the class.
Most training sessions last between one and two hours. The exact time depends on each participant’s comfort level with technology, and some may finish sooner.
Trainings are held at various locations across Birmingham, Jefferson County, and surrounding areas, including senior centers, churches, and community facilities. Check our schedule or contact us to find a class near you.
